Karen Rebholz | Manager

Karen Rebholz, Ph.D., is an artist, luthier, and scientist, who has been Madison Bach Musicians’ manager since 2018. While with MBM, she has performed many tasks including designing advertising and print materials. In 2012, she combined her interests in the art she loved—rooted in beauty, craft, pattern, and storytelling—along with her interests in science, music, and her Norwegian heritage when she started to build Hardanger fiddles. She has received grants to study acoustics and participate in Landskappleiken in Norway, and she presents talks and performs on the Hardanger fiddle. Karen has received Gold Medal, Best of Show, and People’s Choice awards in woodworking at Vesterheim, and three of her Hardanger fiddles were awarded silver and bronze medals at Landskappleiken in 2022 and 2024. http://karenrebholz.weebly.com
