Sean Kleve | Percussion & Harpsichord

Percussionist, Composer, Conductor, Harpsichordist, and Educator, Sean Kleve is the founder of Madison Wisconsin’s premiere experimental percussion ensemble, Clocks in Motion (2011-2022). Sean is an extra percussionist and timpanist with many of the leading orchestras in the Midwest including the Madison Symphony, Quad City Symphony, and the Madison Bach Musicians.
In addition to percussion, Sean is a professional harpsichordist and promoter of early keyboard historical instruments. He has presented his keynote lecture, Bach on the Wrong Instrument in residencies across the Midwest. Sean holds degrees from Manhattan School of Music, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory.
