Kyle Stegall | Evangelist

Described as “one of the finest evangelists of his generation” (Classical Music Daily UK), tenor Kyle Stegall is distinguished for his exceptional artistry on concert, opera, and recital stages. Particularly in demand in the works of JS Bach, Kyle made his Lincoln Center debut as evangelista in the Johannes-Passion under the direction of Masaaki Suzuki.  Other notable collaborators include Manfred Honeck, Eric Zivian, William Christie, and Matilda Hofman among others.  His interpretations are celebrated for the depth of their insight and passionate expression, and his singing for its “attractively plangent tone” (Bachtrack).
