Welcome to our 22nd season!
Dear Friends,
Thank you for making Madison Bach Musicians’ 2024-25 season an overwhelming success. We are still abuzz and hope you are as well. It was thrilling to travel together through the musical landscapes of The French Baroque Style (Oct. 2024), a festive 17th-Century GermanChristmas (Dec. 2024), the dedication concert of our marvelous new Baroque chamber organ (Feb. 2025), and finally to arrive at Bach’s monumental St. Matthew Passion (March 2025). Thanks for your concert attendance, enthusiasm, and stalwart financial support!!
Now, on to our exciting 22nd season! In 2025-26, MBM will present four new programs in four unique architectural settings. We’ll begin with Classical Symphonies of Haydn, Boccherini, and C.P.E. Bach on October 4 & 5 in the serene sanctuary of Holy Wisdom Monastery. On December 13, we’ll shift to the Georgian splendor of the First Congregational Church for our 15th Annual Holiday Concert, Christmas with the Baroque Masters. In the spring, on March 28 & 29, we’ll give two performances of Bach’s incomparable Mass in B minor in the acoustic elegance of the Hamel Music Center. And the season will conclude on May 9 & 10 with a program that melds considerations of music and architecture—Princely Architects: Bach, Beethoven, and Frank Lloyd Wright—held in Wright’s 1951 Madison masterpiece, the Unitarian Meeting House, as part of the Landmark Auditorium’s 75th Anniversary celebration. Please join us for this great lineup of concerts!
We hope you will be a subscriber to Madison Bach Musicians’ 22nd season. We continue to offer our events in livestream format so that our patrons everywhere can enjoy the concerts and so that those who attend in person can also watch the livestream recording on demand for two weeks after the concert. In conjunction with each of our season offerings, MBM continues its series of educational outreach events for school orchestras and choirs and for youth music performing organizations.
See you at the concerts!
